(Ineia #7)
Similar idea as previous poem, but fewer words and narrower scope. Ineia accepts that Sothalkarr is the one city they will go to. There won't be time to go somewhere else. She hasn’t quite decided what she will do when she gets there, but she’s only got three phrases left to get translated, and so it won’t be this poem.
Sothalkarr The fair,
carven trees of stone
Adorn her graceful courts where
cold North wind had blown
carven trees of stone
Adorn her graceful courts where
cold North wind had blown
Built above her sisters there
Sothalkarr can alone
See the Doom her sisters share
By Shadow overthrown
Within your own walls a snare
Traitors with hearts of stone
Root them out, Sothalkarr fair,
Else be captive in orkon's lair.
Traitors with hearts of stone
Root them out, Sothalkarr fair,
Else be captive in orkon's lair.
